Do I have to submit my grant using the on-line grant application?

Yes.

Do I have to complete the request in one on-line session?

No. You can save your application at any point throughout your application process.

Why do you require a Conflict of Interest Resolution Policy?

The ACCME Standards for Commercial Support require that all identified conflict of interest is resolved. Refer to the ACCME website for more information.

Why do you require a Needs Assessment?

It determines the educational objectives and program topics. Methods may include an educational gap analysis, survey of the target audience, previous program evaluations, results of focus group discussions, expert opinion and literature searches.

Can I use my own budget form with your application?

Yes. Although we would prefer you use our template, we will accept your budget schedule.

How are “Call for Grants” applications processed?

Select the “call for grant application” from the drop-down box when answering the initial application screening questions. Please note: A code is required to complete a “Call for grant” application.

Do you accept applications for charitable contributions?

No. Please email your request to Charitable Contributions at USContributions@astrazeneca.com

Do you make grants to individuals?

No.

How long will it take before a decision is reached?

The average grant review requires 4 - 6 weeks.

Where can I find the status of my Grant Application?

Go to home page and scroll to the bottom of the page to “Submitted Applications. Status will be listed there.

Can I re-submit a grant once it has been non-funded?

No. A decision of non-funded is final. All inquiries must be emailed to grants@astrazeneca.com

Can we use the AstraZeneca logo to list as a sponsor for our funded program?

Yes. Send an e-mail to grants@astrazeneca.com

Can I update an application once it has been submitted?

No. You cannot update your application once it is submitted. Any changes or attachments must be emailed to grants@astrazeneca.com; please remember to include the grant number for the application in question.

What if I cannot remember my Username?

Your username is the email address that is associated with your account. If you have trouble, email grants@astrazeneca.com

What if I cannot remember my Password?

Click on the “forgot Password” link and enter your email address. Instructions for re-setting your password will be sent.

What happens if I did not receive my new password?

Check your spam folder, if the email is not there, email grants@astrazeneca.com

What if I need to change my password?

From the home page select “edit Profile” Click on the “Change Password” icon.

What happens if I am not able to login with my existing account information?

Send an email with the specific issue including the email address, organization associated with this account and current password to grants@astrazeneca.com

How do I upload documents once I've submitted the grant application?

Send any additional/updated documents via email to grants@astrazeneca.com and we will upload to your application. Include the grant id# number in the subject line of the email.

How do I unlock the budget schedule?

Be advised that you cannot unlock the budget schedule. You need to itemize your expenses by completing columns B & C. The green total columns will then automatically be populated, including the amount requested from AstraZeneca.
